2022 Chicago Thanksgiving Parade
The Unicycling Society of America, Inc has been selected to participate as a Specialty Unit in the 2022 Chicago Thanksgiving Parade. This is your opportunity to represent the unicycling community on a national stage, as the parade will be broadcasted live on the CW! Grab your unicycle, tell your friends, and come ride with the USA this November 24th!

Important Details:
The parade takes place in downtown Chicago on Thanksgiving morning, Thursday, November 24, 2022. The parade steps off at 8:00 a.m. at State and Ida B. Wells Drive and ends at 11:00 a.m. at State and Randolph. Call times may be as early as 6:00 AM. More parade information can be found here.
Nearby Hotel Options: HI Chicago Hostel (they have great group rates, or $33/night for an individual), Travelodge by Windham (~$100/night for 2),Hotel Blake (~$125/night for 2), Congress Plaza Hotel and Conference Center(~$150/night), Sheraton Grand (the required hotel) (~160/night for up to 4)

Requirements to Ride:
Uniform: Blue/black pants and dark long sleeve shirt/sweatshirt under USA shirt. The uniform t-shirt is available here, or you can choose a sweatshirt instead. If you choose "Ship to Alex" it will be available to pick up at the event. Don't delay, t-shirts are printed on demand
USA Membership: ALL riders must be current members of the Unicycling Society of America. To become a member, or renew membership, please visit the membership page.
Helmets:
Standard (20” & 24”) - Helmet optional, but encouraged.
Non-standard (giraffes/big wheels) - Helmet Required
