2023 Chicago Thanksgiving Parade
The Unicycling Society of America, Inc has been selected to participate as a Specialty Unit in the 2023 Chicago Thanksgiving Parade. This is your opportunity to represent the unicycling community on a national stage, as the parade will be broadcasted live on the CW! Grab your unicycle, tell your friends, and come ride with the USA this November 23rd!

Important Details:
The parade takes place in downtown Chicago on Thanksgiving morning, Thursday, November 23, 2023. The parade steps off at 8:00 a.m. at State and Ida B. Wells Drive and ends at 11:00 a.m. at State and Randolph. Call times may be as early as 6:00 AM. More parade information can be found here.
There are coffee shops and porta potties near the start of the parade
For those of us from out-of-town, we are required to stay at the official hotel, the Sheraton Grand Riverwalk Chicago. In reality, though, find a cheap place to stay nearby the parade route. Plan on walking from your hotel to the start of the parade, and walking back to your hotel from the end of the parade.

Requirements to Ride:
Uniform: Blue/black pants and dark long sleeve shirt/sweatshirt under USA shirt. Uniform T-shirt details to come
USA Membership: ALL riders must be current members of the Unicycling Society of America. To become a member, or renew membership, please visit the membership page.
Helmets:
Standard (20” & 24”) - Helmet optional, but encouraged.
Non-standard (giraffes/big wheels) - Helmet Required
